The Broad Street Scientific showcases some of the most interesting and complex math- and science-centered research projects explored by students at NCSSM. The BSS accepts submissions for publication to the journal, for the scientific essay and photo contest (winners to be featured in the journal), and to join the staff as an editor or publication editor.
Editors are selected and trained in the fall semester, while most of the time commitment occurs during J-Term and the spring semester. Participation is open to juniors and seniors in the residential and online programs.
The deadline to apply to join the BSS editorial staff is Friday, October 13 at 11:59 PM (midnight).
